PRIMERA COMUNICACION

La presente comunicación se basa en la descripción de un ejemplar de DiphiIlobothrium erinacei, que tuvimos oportunidad de coleccionar en el intestino de un perro de Bogotá. y que figura con el Número 1.106 del libro de registro de las colecciones del Laboratorio de Parasitologia de la Facultad de Medicina-Veterinaria y Zootecnia de la Universidad Nacional.

Hacemos esta comunicación teniendo en cuenta su importancia en salud pública y en vista de que en la bibliografía consultada no liemos encontrado la descripción de ejemplares de esta especie en el país.
