Tipificación de hemoglobinas en bovinos

El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar las hemoglobinas de varias razas existentes en Colombia, y mediante comparación con trabajos citados en la literatura, fijar los patrones para los tipos de hemoglobinas. Este paso inicial nos permitirá en el futuro estudiar las razas criollas con el fin de aprovechar mejor su potencial genético. Se espera con este trabajo sentar algunas bases para poder determinar posteriormente la utilidad del tipo de hemoglobina como indicador de adaptación y de producción.
