El objeto del presente artículo es mostrar tres escenarios sobre la entrevista que son útiles para la docencia y acción profesional de trabajo social. Se busca profundizar sobre la entrevista desde diferentes perspectivas teóricas y metodológicas. En primer término, se tratará el enfoque humanista de Karl Rogers y la mirada etnográfica de Roberta Greene. En segundo término, se esboza el aporte de Sigmud Freud. Finalmente se señala la contribución a la entrevista del modelo sistémico de la Escuela de Terapia Familiar de Milán.
