About the Journal

Agronomía Colombiana is a peer-reviewed scientific journal on agronomy and agricultural sciences, edited by the Faculty of Agronomy of the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Bogotá. Agronomía Colombiana publishes original research papers, reviews, and short notes on crop production and physiology, crop disease and protection, soil science, agricultural technology, agroclimatology, agricultural economics, and other areas of agronomy. It encourages the publication of research data in the agricultural extension sector in the tropical and subtropical regions of the world.

The Journal is a triannual publication.

The journal is indexed in the Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) and Scopus, and is ranked Q4 in the Scimago Journal Rank (SJR). Internationally, the journal is available in the following databases: SciELO, Redalyc, Latindex, AGRIS (FAO), ResearchGate, Family Farming Knowledge Platform, CABI Full Text, and the databases of CAB-ABSTRACTS.

Whenever applicable, the journal title abbreviated as Agron. Colomb. should be used in bibliographic citations, footnotes, legends, and references.
