The steel existing inside the concrete that composes poles, towers and building foundations, may be used as a grounding lead wire and as a grounding rod, in medium and low voltage power-distribution systems, in telecommunication plants and in cosumer power entries. That use propiciates a better performance of the electrical system, from its distribution system up to user electrical installations due to a reduction of impedance in the grounding systems, in addition to, in certain cases, the occurrence of a reduction in installation costs.
