el desarrollo de las ciencias cognitivas en el siglo XX ha actualizado el debate sobre el problema de la percepción estética. Muchos científicos y filósofos han abordado la cuestión de la percepción estética sin llegar a una conclusión. En este contexto, se plantea la cuestión sobre cómo establecer puntos de encuentro entre la tradición filosófica y los avances de las neurociencias para ampliar la comprensión del fenómeno estético. Con el fin de indagar en el sentido de la pregunta planteada, se parte de la premisa de que un campo fértil de trabajo se encuentra en la estética de Nicolaï Hartmann, debido a su basamento en una ontología modal de orden no metafísico, cuyos planteamientos son cercanos al enfoque de la ciencia moderna. Se plantea una indagación de hermenéutica filosófica que parte de la revisión de la teoría sobre la percepción estética de Hartmann y la contrasta con los hallazgos de las neurociencias y de la filosofía de la mente. El resultado final es un modelo ontológico de aproximación al fenómeno de la percepción estética. Este modelo es una forma esquemática, simplificada y organizada para explicar la percepción de lo bello.
the development of cognitive sciences in the 20th century has updated the debate on the problem of aesthetic perception. Many scientists and philosophers have addressed the question of aesthetic perception without arriving at a conclusion. In this context, the question arises as to how to establish meeting points between the philosophical tradition and advances in neuroscience to broaden the understanding of the aesthetic phenomenon. In order to investigate the meaning of the question posed, we start from the premise that a fertile field of work can be found in Nicolaï Hartmann’s Aesthetics, since it is based on a modal Ontology of a non-metaphysical order, having perspectives that are similar to the approach of modern science. To achieve this, a philosophical hermeneutic enquiry is proposed that starts from the revision of Hartmann’s theory of aesthetic perception and contrasts it with the findings of neuroscience and the philosophy of the mind. The result is an ontological model for approaching the phenomenon of aesthetic perception. This model is a schematic, simplified and organized way of explaining the perception of beauty. The model is proposed as a contribution to the study and understanding of aesthetics.
o desenvolvimento das ciências cognitivas no século XX atualizou o debate sobre o problema da percepção estética. Muitos cientistas e filósofos abordaram a questão da percepção estética sem chegar a uma conclusão. Nesse contexto, surge a questão de como estabelecer pontos de encontro entre a tradição filosófica e os avanços da neurociência para ampliar a compreensão do fenômeno estético. Para investigar o sentido da questão colocada, partimos da premissa de que um campo fértil de trabalho encontra-se na Estética de Nicolaï Hartmann, devido ao seu fundamento em uma Ontologia modal de ordem não metafísica, cujos enfoques se aproximam da abordagem da ciência moderna. Propõe-se uma investigação de hermenêutica filosófica que parte da revisão da teoria da percepção estética de Hartmann e a contrasta com os achados da neurociência e da filosofia da mente. O resultado final é um modelo ontológico de abordagem do fenômeno da percepção estética. Este modelo é uma forma esquemática, simplificada e organizada de explicar a percepção da beleza.
