Ideas y Valores

Ideas y Valores is an academic publication of the Department of Philosophy at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. It was founded in 1951 and, in its more than seventy years of existence, has provided a place for the publication and difussion of philosophical research conducted in Colombia and other Spanish-speaking countries. Ideas y Valores is published three times a year, in January, May, and September. The journal publishes articles, reviews, and discussions in various philosophical areas and traditions. Spanish translations of classic philosophical texts are also occasionally published. With the support of guest editors from the academic community, the journal also publishes monographic issues on particular themes, traditions, or authors.
