Un método no gráfico en diseño de mezclas de concreto

Usualmente para el diseño de mezclas de dos (algunas veces tres) materiales es necesario efectuar los siguientes pasos: 1) obtener las granulometrías de los materiales. 2) con base en estas granulometrías definir una granulometría ideal para la mezcla. 3) por un método grafico obtener los porcentajes de los materiales que den la granulometría de la mezcla “más semejante” a la ideal. En este artículo se presenta un método que busca directamente, en el tercer paso, la granulometría más parecida a la ideal. Aquí se presenta como granulometría ideal la proporcionada por la curva de Fuller, que es tal vez la más usada. Sin embargo, el método propuesto se puede utilizar para cualquier granulometría ideal.
