El propósito de este artículo es presentar los resultados obtenidos mediante la simulación del crecimiento de Aerobacter cloacae, con el programa: C:\GWBASIC\HERBERT.BAS, y analizar algunos factores tales como caudal, tiempo de retención y productividad, relacionados con el diseño y operación de reactores donde ocurren transformaciones bioquímicas originadas por la acción de células vivas.
