Se presentan criterios para modos de falla planar diferentes a deslizamiento para los taludes cinemáticamente estables (β = δ). Se investigan los modos de falla por pandeo, compresión, flexión y esfuerzo cortante, estos dos últimos especialmente para el caso de sismo. Se presentan tablas y gráficos que ayudan a evaluar los modos de falla.
