El autor describe sus últimos experimentos sobre el cultivo o conservación del semen humano, realizados en más de 20 años de investigación; establece que la eyaculación de los hombres y de los animales, a excepción de los canes, no es testicular sino vesicular; señala que en el hombre y en los animales de eyaculación vesicular, que no han eyaculado durante 30 días, no se encuentran necroespermias; demuestra que los espermatozoides tienen una longevidad mayor de 30 días en condiciones fisiológicas propicias; y considera innecesaria la temperatura de 0 grados en la conservación de la vida latente de los zoospermos. El autor apunta experimentos y deducciones interesantes sobre la longevidad del óvulo; llama la atención sobre la falta de comprobación histológica en la reducción o división cromosómica del óvulo, pues para el A. la clásica teoría sobre la ovogénesís equivale al error de considerar que el espermatozoide maduro, al ser expulsado de las vesículas seminales, realiza los últimos pasoss de la espermatogénesis.
