In this paper I try to exhibit some of the Brandom’s most important ideas. This exhibition will tend to show, first, the most important concepts of the semantic inferentialist theory that raises Brandom. Secondly, this exhibition will tend to show that there are two forms of rationality in the theory that Brandom elaborates, namely, the rationality that uses concepts and introduces conceptual contents in the language, and the rationality that clarifies and criticizes the contents of the concepts. Finally, everything previous will be driven to indicate the great importance that Brandom attributes to the logical vocabulary.
