El artículo presenta una reflexión en tomo a la utilidad de la distinción de los dominios de intervención profesional, específicamente de producción y explicación, como una forma de precisar, comprender y legitimar modalidades de acción del trabajo social en procesos familiares, privilegiando la estética como una nueva posibilidad desde la cual puede plantearse alternativas de intervención más integrales y más humanizadas para la profesión.
