La alteración de los procesos familiares ocasionada por una situación de hospitalización invita a la reflexión a todos los profesionales de salud, quienes en algún momento de su vida laboral tienen que inter-actuar, con individuos hospitalizados por algún episodio de enfermedad, necesitando del cuidado de enfermería, de tratamiento médico o quirúrgico; en busca de una estrategia de cuidado frente al paciente y su familia lo que permitirá comprender, observar, interpretar cada una de las manifestaciones de éstos seres humanos, que requieren de nuestro cuidado y prever las acciones necesarias según la situación.
The alteration of the family processes caused by a situation of hospitalization invites to the reflection to all the professionals of the health who in some moment of its labor life have to interact, with individuals hospitalized by some illness episode, needing the infirmary care, the medical or surgical treatment¡ by searching a strategy of care in front of the patient and his family that will allow understand, to observe, to interpret each one of the manifestations of these human beings that require of our care and to prevent the necessary actions according to the situation.
