In this article I try to explain the role of Miraña songs and dances as elements of harmonization and vindication with people, spirits, and the Creator. I will try to show that the celebration of dances goes beyond a merely artistic and aesthetic expression, personal enjoyment, and interpersonal relationships to become forms of harmonization of the territory. The text is based on the stories that the elders have told me as well as my own experience participating in different initiatives to strengthen the Miraña language and culture, learning and teaching while singing and dancing. The text ends with a reflection on our dream of strengthening our culture and one day returning to our traditional territory.
