This text presents five eikɨ (song-divinations) derived from my research about the uikɨ rafue (ceremony of the ball game) of the Murui-Muina (Witoto), a “basket” (ritual) that was sealed and has not been performed since the 1970s. With the aim to construct a collective memory about this ritual, we recorded, transcribed and translated these eikɨ, which go along with a poetic interpretation resulting from my learning process and from the interaction I have had with the Murui-Muina. The ball game ceremony belongs to ceremonial career Yuaɨ (fruits), and as such, the teaching and pedagogy of the eikɨ are part of its structure.
