There are a great quantity of structures with cables, such as hanging bridges and towers with cables. To tie this cables it is common to use clips in their ends. In this paper, appear the results of one investigation carried out in the Department of Civil Engineering, about the behavior of cables tied with available clips in the domestic market, depending on the quantity of clips placed in each end of the cable and the placement form. Also the behavior of clips used more than one time is presented here.
