This section presents interviews held with two eminent engineers who have graduated from the Faculty of Engineering. Marcelo Riveros and Alberto Mayor interviewed the distinguished engineer Guillermina Uribe who was the first woman to graduate from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia’s Faculty of Engineering whilst Antonio Mejía and Alberto Mayor interviewed José Fernando Isaza Delgado, mathematician, businessman, columnist, teacher and rector of Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano, who graduated as an electrical engineer from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia’s Faculty of Engineering. These interviews represent the work of illustrious men and women who have been involved in the development of engineering in Colombia.
En esta sección muestran dos entrevistas a ingenieros egresados de la Facultad de Ingeniería. En primer lugar los ingenieros Marcelo Riveros y Alberto Mayor realizan una entrevista a la ilustre Ingeniera Guillermina Uribe, quien fue la primera mujer graduada en la Facultad de Ingeniería de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia. Por otro lado, los ingenieros Antonio Mejía y Alberto Mayor entrevistan al ingeniero José Fernando Isaza, egresado de la Facultad de Ingeniería de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia. Estas entrevistas representan el trabajo de hombres y mujeres ilustres en el desarrollo de la Ingeniería en Colombia.

The authors authorize the Universidad Nacional de Colombia's journal Ingeniería e Investigación to publish the document in whatever required format (printed, digital, electronic or whatsoever known or yet to be discovered form) and authorize Ingeniería e Investigación to include the work in any indices and/or search engines deemed necessary for promoting its diffusion;
4. The authors accept that such authorization is given free of charge and they, therefore, waive any right to receive remuneration from the publication, distribution, public communication and any use whatsoever referred to in the terms of this authorization.
