COVID-19 is an infectious disease caused by the new SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus and, since its emergence in December 2019, millions of people have been infected and thousands have died. This disease has also had a significant physical and mental impact on those who have survived its severe phases.1,2 Colombia is currently one of the countries most hit by this pandemic.
La COVID-19 es una enfermedad infecciosa causada por el nuevo coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 y que desde su aparición en diciembre de 2019 ha tenido un impacto mundial al infectar a millones de personas y causar miles de muertes; esta entidad también ha dejado una gran cantidad de secuelas, tanto físicas como mentales, en las personas que han sobrevivido a sus fases graves.1,2 En la actualidad, Colombia es uno de los países que más se ha visto afectado por este cataclismo pandémico.
