Cuidado de enfermería al paciente crítico

El paciente en estado de salud crítico, está en situación inminente del peligro de muerte y debe ser concebido en su integridad como ser biopsicosocial para así brindar un cuidado integral de enfermería, en el que se involucre a su familia desde el planeamiento, satisfaciendo de esta forma sus necesidades sociales, de afecto y fisiológicas; procurando así una estancia en la unidad de cuidado critico menos dolorosa y/o estimulando una pronta recuperación.
