El presente trabajo desarrolla e implementa el cálculo numérico sobre una hoja electrónica de un evaporador químico de múltiple efecto con diferentes tipos de configuración con respecto a la disposición relativa de los flujos. El objetivo del cálculo numérico es de orden didáctico y académico. Se instala sobre una herramienta numérica — hoja electrónica de cálculo— de fácil manejo, ampliamente difundida, bastante amigable e interactiva y con una excelente presentación. Adicionalmente, se implementa para el cálculo numérico un modelamiento matemático acorde con los desarrollos computacionales actuales. El cálculo resulta numéricamente eficiente, flexible y muy interactivo.
