Os Ecossistemas de Inovação são espaços que agregam infraestrutura e arranjos institucionais e culturais, que atraem empreendedores e recursos financeiros, e que potencializam o desenvolvimento da sociedade do conhecimento. Assim, este artigo teve como objetivo atualizar e situar o conceito de Ecossistemas de Inovação a partir de seus principais elementos constitutivos, por meio de Revisão Sistemática da Literatura na forma de meta-síntese e apoiada no paradigma da Design Science Research, delimitado aos últimos 5 anos, resultando na análise de 422 artigos. Os principais resultados evidenciaram que: (a) verificou-se que há caminhos diversos para a conceituação de EI em virtude da sua própria natureza dinâmica, multidimensional e possibilidades distintas de configuração e implementação; (b) recomenda-se compreender o conceito de EI em uma perspectiva de uma dualidade dialética interdependente e aberta, podendo-se assumir diversas nomenclaturas, conforme o ambiente concreto da sua aplicação; (c) pode-se conceituar e situar EI como um conjunto de casos, aplicações, interações e interpretações que por sua vez compõem a própria construção do conhecimento, dentro de uma espécie de EI global. Com esta pesquisa, pode-se constatar uma tendência contínua de crescimento dos estudos a respeito de EI, bem como a ampliação da sua diversidade, indo além do escopo das empresas e agregando elementos estruturantes do desenvolvimento, como a questão geográfica, energética e social-distributiva, fortalecendo os seus elementos abióticos.
EIs are spaces that bring together infrastructure and institutional and cultural arrangements that attract entrepreneurs and financial resources, boosting the development of the knowledge society. The research offers an innovative meta-synthesis, integrating a critical analysis of recent economic and technological transformations with a new dialectical and multidimensional approach to the concept of EIs. The systematic literature review, conducted between 2018 and 2022, analyzed 422 articles and resulted in significant insights. In contrast to previous reviews, which treat EIs statically, this study suggests an evolutionary and adaptable model, essential for understanding and applying the concept in diverse contexts. The main results indicate that the conceptualization of IEs follows different paths, reflecting their dynamic and multidimensional nature. In addition, a dialectical understanding of the concept is suggested, which adapts to the application environment, and a new approach to IEs is proposed as a set of innovation management practices that contribute to the construction of knowledge in a global ecosystem. The practical contribution of this study is to offer a conceptual basis that can guide the development of innovative policies and practices adapted to different global environments. The work also sheds light on the current scenario of IEs and points to new demands for empirical studies and the development of constructivist methodologies focused on sustainability.
Los EI (ecosistemas de innovación) son espacios que reúnen infraestructura y disposiciones institucionales y culturales que atraen a emprendedores y recursos financieros, potenciando el desarrollo de la sociedad del conocimiento. La investigación ofrece una metasíntesis innovadora, integrando un análisis crítico de las recientes transformaciones económicas y tecnológicas con un nuevo enfoque dialéctico y multidimensional del concepto de EI. La revisión sistemática de la literatura, realizada entre 2018 y 2022, analizó 422 artículos y dio lugar a importantes conclusiones. A diferencia de revisiones anteriores, que tratan los EI de forma estática, este estudio sugiere un modelo evolutivo y adaptable, esencial para comprender y aplicar el concepto en diversos contextos. Los principales resultados indican que la conceptualización de las EI sigue caminos diversos, lo que refleja su naturaleza dinámica y multidimensional. Además, se sugiere una comprensión dialéctica del concepto, que se adapta al entorno de aplicación, y se propone un nuevo enfoque de las EI como un conjunto de prácticas de gestión de la innovación que contribuyen a la construcción del conocimiento en un ecosistema global. La contribución práctica de este estudio consiste en ofrecer una base conceptual que pueda guiar el desarrollo de políticas y prácticas innovadoras adaptadas a diferentes entornos globales. El trabajo también ilumina el panorama actual de los EI y señala nuevas demandas para estudios empíricos y para el desarrollo de metodologías constructivistas centradas en la sostenibilidad.
