About the Journal

Innovar is an open access scholarly research, peer-reviewed, quarterly journal, edited and funded since 1991 by the School of Management and Public Accounting at the Faculty of Economic Sciences, National University of Colombia. The Journal’s main objective is to disseminate academic production in the fields of Management and Accounting, as well as those of the Social Sciences with some relation to the study of organizations, from various epistemological and methodological perspectives.

The Journal publishes research, reflection, and review articles, as well as critical reviews of books, journals, and other relevant specialized literature. Original and unpublished works in Spanish, English, Portuguese, and French can be submitted. Its target audience is mainly made up of researchers, professors, students, and practitioners from various disciplines interested in contemporary advances in Management and Accounting academic literature. Innovar expects to contribute to such disciplinary fields, thus becoming a channel for the dissemination and interaction of Spanish, English, Portuguese, and French-speaking communities.
