Este artículo es una revisión de la literatura existente sobre investigaciones que han explorado el vínculo entre las prácticas de recursos humanos (RRHH) y la sostenibilidad ambiental en el contexto organizacional, para identificar con ello las prácticas de RRHH que impactan la estrategia de sostenibilidad ambiental. La contribución de este artículo para fines académicos y prácticos es establecer cuáles son los impactos en las estrategias de sostenibilidad ambiental y cómo pueden alcanzarse a través de la gestión estratégica de RRHH. Los principales hallazgos de esta investigación dan elementos para la construcción de un modelo de diseño e implementación para aquellas organizaciones que tienen la intención de ser más efectivas en su gestión ambiental y marcar el rumbo para futuros investigadores que quieran responder desde el campo de los RRHH a las necesidades globales de preservar y proteger el medio ambiente.
This article is a review of current literature exploring the relationship between human resources (HR) practices and environmental sustainability in the organizational context, aimed at identifying the hr practices that affect the environmental sustainability strategy of organizations. The contribution of this paper for academic and practical purposes is to establish the impacts on the environmental sustainability practices and how can these be accomplished through the strategic management of Human Resources. The main findings of this research provide elements for constructing a design and implementation model for organizations that intend to be more efficient in their environmental management and set a course for future researchers who want to address the global needs of preserving and protecting the environment from a HR perspective.
este artigo é uma revisão da literatura existente sobre pesquisas que vêm explorando o vínculo entre as práticas de recursos humanos (RH) e a sustentabilidade ambiental no contexto organizacional, para identificar, com isso, as práticas de rh que impactam a estratégia de sustentabilidade ambiental. A contribuição deste artigo para fins acadêmicos e práticos é estabelecer quais são os impactos nas estratégias de sustentabilidade ambiental e como podem ser atingidos por meio da gestão estratégica de RH. Os principais achados desta pesquisa dão elementos para construir um modelo de desenho e implantação para aquelas organizações que têm a intenção de serem mais efetivas em sua gestão ambiental e abrirem caminho para futuros pesquisadores que queiram responder, a partir do campo do RH, às necessidades globais de preservar e proteger o meio ambiente.
