El poder no puede ser concebido sin su complemento natural: la resistencia. Este concepto permite interpretar una gran variedad de fenómenos sociales y organizacionales, tanto históricos como contemporáneos, por lo que ha sido objeto de un gran interés por parte de la academia. Este artículo hace una revisión de la literatura acerca de la resistencia en el campo de los estudios organizacionales. Los resultados muestran que se trata de un fenómeno complejo, abordado poruna gran variedad de aproximaciones, que van desde la filosofía y las ciencias sociales hasta las teorías propias del management, y que se materializa en un amplio espectro de prácticas y discursos. Con este trabajo se busca señalar la importancia del problema de la resistencia en la construcción de una agenda crítica en el campo.
Power cannot be understood without its natural complement: Resistance. This concept allows the interpretation of a great variety of social and organizational phenomena, both historical and contemporary, thus it has received great attention from academia. This paper presents a literature review on resistance in the field of organization studies The results show that resistance is a complex phenomenon studied by a wide variety of approaches, ranging from philosophy and social sciences to management theories, and that it materializes in a wide spectrum of practices and discourses. This work seeks to draw attention to the importance of the problem of resistance in the construction of a critical agenda in the field of organization studies.
O poder não pode ser concebido sem seu complemento natural: a resistência. Esse conceito permite interpretar uma grande variedade de fenômenos sociais e organizacionais, tanto históricos quanto contemporâneos, por essa razão tem sido objeto de interesse da academia. Este artigo faz uma revisão da literatura sobre a resistência no campo dos estudos organizacionais. Os resultados mostram que se trata de um fenômeno complexo, abordado por diversas aproximações, que vão desde a filosofia e as ciências sociais até as teorias próprias do management, e que é materializado em um amplo conjunto de práticas e discursos. Com este trabalho, pretende-se mostrar a importância do problema da resistência na construção de uma agenda crítica no campo.
