Este número presenta la bien documentada opinión del profesor Sierra (1) sobre la utilidad de las estatinas en la prevención de la enfermedad cerebrovascular; lo que me invita a hacer algunas anotaciones sobre denominación, clasificación y tratamiento de la misma.
