Eficiencia cuantitativa de la función docente en la universidad: ingeniería química como caso de estudio

Del seguimiento académico de seis diferentes grupos de estudiantes admitidos durante los años 1972, 1973 y 1974, se observa un reducido número de egresados, una alta tasa de retiros forzosos y voluntarios, y una importante proporción de ellos que aún se encuentran como alumnos regulares de la Facultad. Lo anterior apunta a una baja en la eficiencia cuantitativa de la carrera que puede ser sintomático de un fenómeno generalizado en la Universidad.
