La validación de un cuestionario es un proceso que determina si la herramienta cuantifica lo que se pretende ponderar. Si este proceso es exitoso se concluye que el cuestionario tiene validez. Los métodos de validación son implementados de diferentes maneras y de acuerdo a los objetivos pautados por los investigadores. Los últimos deciden qué método o métodos emplearán.

The validation of a questionnaire is a process that determines whether the tool quantifies what is intended to be weighted. If this process is successful, it concludes that the questionnaire is valid. Validation methods are implemented in different ways and according to the objectives set by the researchers. The latter decide which method or methods they will use.
