El principal objetivo de este artículo es describir lo que se llama la metodología de prototipos para la obtención de productos informáticos. Aunque ésta ha sido modificada, en este trabajo se hace mención de la versión actual que se utiliza en el proyecto interdisciplinario CORBI (Centro de Orientación y Referencia en Biotecnología e Informática del IBUN, Instituto de Biotecnologia de la Universidad Nacional).
