El presente trabajo extrae los principales puntos referentes al estudio de imagen de la Facultad de Ingeniería de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia, sede Bogotá, y se centra en el departamento de Ingeniería Mecánica. El estudio fue contratado a finales de 1989, y coordinado por el autor; como parte de una estrategia de la Facultad de vincularse más activamente al sector productivo.
