Cada año se registra el ingreso de un gran número de jóvenes a las universidades, específicamente a las Facultades de ingeniería, e inician un ciclo de su vida que culmina cuando algunos de ellos, terminando sus estudios, reciben sus títulos profesionales. A partir de ese momento entrarán en su fase productiva para la sociedad, que ha invertido en su formación.
Uno de los aspectos que este status profesional implicaba en el pasado, era la solución a su problema de subsistencia y el medio de lograr una aceptable estabilidad económica. Actualmente la anterior consideración ha dejado de tener vigencia y es cada vez mayor el número de ingenieros que egresan de las diferentes Facultades, solo para ingresar en el gremio de los desempleados, generándose una tremenda frustración, que indudablemente contribuye al estado de perturbación social que vive el país.

4. The authors accept that such authorization is given free of charge and they, therefore, waive any right to receive remuneration from the publication, distribution, public communication and any use whatsoever referred to in the terms of this authorization.
