About the Journal

 Revista Colombiana de Química (Rev. Colomb. Quim.) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal from the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Sciences of Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Bogotá. It currently publishes three volumes per year (January-April, May-August, and September-December), which are framed in the different fields of chemistry: Analytic, organic, inorganic, biochemistry, and physical chemistry. All of its volumes are available online at the website:

Revista Colombiana de Química is indexed in the SCOPUS database (Q4). It is also registered in the SciELO and REDALYC repositories, and in the DOAJ, LATINDEX, REDIB, and ULRICH'S PERIODICAL DIRECTORY directories.

The contents of the articles must be original, unpublished and must not have been sent totally or partially for publication to another journal. The acceptance of work for publication depends on the review of Editorial Board and the review of specialists in the subject, for which it is used a system of double-blind review. Manuscripts that do not conform to the theme or style of the journal will be returned without being reviewed. Only contributions considered as results of research work are published. Short notes are not included.

Editorial Board invites experts with recognized research trajectory to publish articles on topics related to the different areas of chemistry in our journal. The target audience are professionals of any area of chemistry.
