Desde el Jardín de Freud

For this issue of the magazine Desde el Jardín de Freud we proposed our collaborators to work on the issue of hatred. The matter, although being as primary as the human creature itself, takes on an unusual relevance in our time. We wanted to attend to various aspects of the question: both the way in which hatred assists the constitution of the subject, the choice of its subjective and sexed position, and the ways in which the discursive framework of our time makes its manifestations , that burst every time more openly.

The following lines are no more than evocations made with thick strokes, each of which opened up in new questions related to the question of hatred, as can be seen by going through the pages of this issue of the magazine. The participating writers displayed many aspects of the issues raised so far and several others that were not even considered at the time we published the call for this issue. We also have, once again and according to the spirit of our magazine, contributions from different horizons, practices and disciplines. Thus, with the help of our collaborators, who knew how to listen to the urgency of dealing with the proposed topic, we were able to open the way to a fruitful work around an issue that does not abound in elaborations, and which concerns not only the effects of our more general condition of speakers, but also to the discursivity of our time. Finally, it is necessary to insist that the sign of the times is the one that made this work all the more urgent, that we now give to our readers in the conviction that it is a task for culture, against a barbarism that has returned with new vigor.
