Cuadernos de Geografía: Revista Colombiana de Geografía is a peer-reviewed international, open access scientific and scholarly journal, published every six months, edited since 1979 by the Department of Geography at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. Its purpose is the dissemination of academic and scientific production in the fields of geography, applied geomatics, and related disciplines. It publishes original results in English, Spanish and Portuguese derived from (i) research; (ii) articles on analytical, interpretative, and critical reflections; (iii) review articles; and (iv) bibliographic and thematic summaries and reports.

The Geography of Coffee in Latin America: Economic, Sociocultural, and Environmental Dimensions.

Call for Papers – *Cuadernos de Geografía: Revista Colombiana de Geografía*, Vol. 37, No. 1 (2028)

The journal invites the national and international academic community to submit manuscripts for the special issue “The Geography of Coffee in Latin America: Economic, Sociocultural, and Environmental Dimensions,” to be published in Vol. 37, No. 1 (2028). This call for papers seeks to bring together research that addresses theoretical and methodological contributions to the geography of coffee in Latin America, covering its history and family farming, economic and sociocultural dynamics, environmental and conservation impacts, its role in post-conflict and peace processes, and new territorialities linked to rural tourism and ecotourism.

Manuscripts will be accepted from July 1, 2026, through December 31, 2026. Submissions must be made exclusively through the journal’s OJS portal, in accordance with the editorial standards and guidelines for authors available on the website of *Cuadernos de Geografía: Revista Colombiana de Geografía*. The journal will accept research articles, reflective essays, and review articles that constitute original and relevant contributions to contemporary geographical discourse.
